Audale Crash...

I go thru the gates to audale on my way to find the hag's lair.

It crashes everytime, i set all the details to really low, still crashes.

Anyway to fix this? and if not does anyone have save game? Because i busted my jerk to get this far.

i am having this same issue i went back to saved game prior to doing the cradle section & i zoned in there was a guard at zone in spot so i moved him out killed him saved zoned in & out a couple times it worked fine

re did the cradle section saw the keepers & it does the same thing again when i try to get into aldale

crash to desktop

so becaus i ruled out hardware & ruled out software by already being in aldale prior that only leaves storyline also tried the 1.1 patch to see if it helped but it did not

prior to cradle it works great did jimmy the knife part made some cash climbed around ect...

so what happens when u zone into aldale after doing the keeper section where the hag looses her hidden appearance is there

something like a video that plays or anything ?? that could becausing this

all i want to do is finish this game

I too am having the same problem. I got super far and then when I am supposed to go find the hags lair when I go into Auldale it crashes to desktop. I have tried te patch as well and it does nothing. I got ripped off all the stupid games that keep coming out are all defective it seems. I am just wasting money. Unless someone can help I'm going to contact the people because I can't take this. Thief DS is just too fun and now I can't play it. Oh yeah and I had a save at the keeper library and I started all the way from there and when I got back to the part of finding the hags lair it crashed again. I think that they didn't finish the game or maybe like when you burn cd's and sometimes they start to like skip from getting burned maybe that is what happened here. But whatever it is I want some help and answers. I'm just glad I'm not the only one with this problem

ok i looked through all the older posts found a work around not a fix but it got me past the problem


someone said at the split second that you actualy see the town screen just before the crash hit the escape key then save the game

then click back it crashes log out reboot if ya have to like me then when you go back in choose the newest save & wala you are in that zone & you can continue to the next stop

i am currently 3 sections past where it crashed so it worked for me good luck
