Rolleyes Clocktower Mission Crashing

The Clocktower Mission is becoming quite frustrating. The first time I played the mission, I was saving to a single save slot. After playing on that level for a while, if I save the mission, the game crashes to the desktop and completely erases the saved game. I uninstalled and re-installed the entire game because I had to start all over again anyway. The second time I started saving games into mutiple slots. Good thing because I have played all the missions up to the clocktower mission and the game is erasing the clocktower saved mission again!!! I am at a loss as to what to try. Has anyone else had this problem or know of some cause? Is there a patch for this situation? I would be grateful for any help.

There is bad loot in the clocktower mission. It is in the room with the elevated chest next to the bunk bed. It is very difficult to retrieve, but not impossible. After I retrieved that particular piece of loot, I was unable to save the game. It would immediately crash to the desktop. If I didn't take that 1 piece of loot, everything was fine. Hope that helps ya.......

It's a known fact that the Clocktower is bound to come crashing down

ok ok i'll stop trying to be funny. I had no bad trips with the cocktower... the sunken citadel was worse for me.

Dont ask.. i dont know.

Can one you please send me a save from inside or before the clocktower as my game was erased as well and I'm not playing through the whole game again. I doubt it will send through email but my AIM name is PimpinMrG if someone would be so kind, thanks (or just reply on here and tell me you can send it)

I had a crashing problem in the Clocktower, but unrelated to the bad loot. (Glad to see I wasn't the only one who couldn't grab that durn bottle!) Anyhow, its when you enter the final room with the halting mechanism. It kept crashing when I'd move toward the gap in the railing. After restarting from my last quick save a few times I moved toward it in a circuitous manner and saved, never had a problem after.

That is exactly what happened to me. I took that last piece of loot out of the chest where I had to actually jump up and grab it really quick. I than saved my game and it crashed causing me to loose my saved game file. I am looking for someone or anyone you can direct me to this particular saved game so that I don't have to start all over. I am so frustrated it isn't even funny.

I am in the process of downloading I will try it this time without grabbing that loot in the chest and I will let you all know if it works or if the download works
