Elemental cocoons?

When the pagans request favours from you, they say you can either shoot moss arrows into cornerstones, or you can fire elemental arrows into their "Elemental cocoons". Now this may be pretty obvious, and maybe i didn't read the note they left properly, but wtf are these cocoons? What do they look like, where can they be found etc. Any help greatly appreciated!

I don't know I was never able to find them either? I just shot moss arrows into the corner stones to get my faction up.

The cocoons are those things that look like two elephant tusks stuck in the ground that you see around the Pagan areas.
