problem with training level

first time i played the game, so i'm just a noob

but in the training level after you're supposed to hit the inn owner with the blackjack i have no clue what to do.. i've picked up the body and walked around with it, tried to walk into the in, but it keeps gsending me back to the point where i'm have to hit the inn owner, even when i really allready did that.. help!

drop him near the ladder where its dark or just drop him down the ladder

i did that but then it doesn't say training completed, and when i try to walk behind the desk i just get sended back again, even though the owner is down the ladder..

When you climbed up the ladder, your supposed to sneak up behind the inn owner and use your blackjack. After that pick him up go back to the ladder you came from and drop him. This is how you complete it... you must be going something weird like not dropping him near the end of the blue foodsteps. Try and restart the game and play the level again if your still stuck.

i've just played the level again but it still doesn't say training succesful, what are you supposed to do after you've trown the owner down the ladder?

Read the book on the desk. It tells you which room Lord Julian is sleeping in

I tought you said you couldn't get "object completed" when trying to drop the inn owner... seems you already completed the objective so move on to the next!

well you thought right i just wondered if maybe i just missed it myself, but I can't read the book yet, so I geuss i'm doing something wrong, but you said you have to follow the blue steps also when you are dropping the body.. my blue steps don''t change after I hit the owner..

right now i'm trying if reinstalling helps..

Don't throw the inn keeper DOWN the ladder, throw him beside it. That's what I always did.

It works both ways so doesnt matter how you do it.

reinstalling finally did the trick, i don't understand what went wrong in the first place, but who cares, it workes again!
