This a glitch with shaders?

Ok... I am constantly seeing this in the demo:

The shadow is being cut off by something. Similar glitches include:

1.) In the staircase, the light glows through the floor.
2.) Sometimes strange lights appear on walls that basically light up the wall but nothing else.
3.) If I stand in certain spots like infront of the moon and light that is from a distance, my gem does not change, which is strange..

I also found a little glitch that when I shot a guard with a water arrow, it put out the flame on the torch, he dropped it, but it was still glowing and it was emitting light, X.X. <- Is this a glitch or something else?

edit: My card is an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro so I don't think it should be doing that.

What version of the Catalyst drivers are you running? If you're using the 4.5 drivers, downgrade to the 4.4's. They work perfectly. The 4.5's have glitches in the shadows.

Yep. Had the same problem.
Catalyst 4.5 --> some lightning probs
Catalyst 4.4 --> everything looking great

A bunch of times I'm in a clearly lighted up area of the room and my light crystal is completely black
