ummm, HELP! BUGS????

Hey all. I have waited SUCH A LONG TIME FOR T3! SO GLAD IT IS FINALLY OUT!
Issue 1: I can't get past the stupid training mission.
Issue 2: I am enable to modify or enable EAX (possibly my two years w/o upgrading my soundblaster Audigy2 is why.)

Anyway, aside from the EAX dilemma, I am more concerned more with the fact that I am stuck in the training mission trying to pick that stupid lock! In addition, I have two other problems: my mouse doesn't move the tumblers (the 'D' key apparently makes the left pick move, but if the right side lockpick is supposed to move... it doesn't do SCHIZZLE!) ALSO! and more importantly! Whenever I right-click and exit the lockpicking aspect, Garrett goes off and starts running to the LEFT. I am unable to undo this! VERY, VERY DISTURBING! WTF? HELP! HELP! HELP! HELP??????

Oh yeah... I almost forgot. I see that there are NO UPDATES AS OF YET? Well, perplexing as it seems... Upon entering the lockpicking objective, in the upper left hand corner of my screen, I got a message that read: "UPDATE REQUIRED!" Someone wanna explain this to me?

I sure hope that EIDOS didn't just go ahead and decide to play THIEF themselves to get us all to buy crap before it was really ready. (just my thoughts.)

Anyway - Thanks to all you TAFFERS out there! I can't wait to see more of this game! GET ME STEALING ASAFP!

It took me about 30 minutes to figure out that you use the cardinal directions. You can move 360 degrees, but you only need to go All the way up, all the way down, totally left or totally right.

if your mouse is ruined then i suggest clean it or get a new one (if you got a ball) if you have a laser be rid of the mouse pad just makes it get stuck


anyway trying pressing W for up D for right S for down A for left and then W+D for mid that way and so forth...

also if you hit the attack button you can get through it in less then a second when you find a hot spot

That's not quite true. There are locks that require diagonal positions as well.
