Is your version fully patched.. My original BEL disk was smashed so i bought a new version which was re-released with drivers that worked on new computers. they may be of some help...

I had this problem too when I was modding the game like a mad man.
I had to completely remove the game, reboot the pc and then reinstall.
direct X problem
I am using windows 98se w/direct X9b but I am unable to play it says it needs direct x5 ? can someone please help. thanks Ray
