Traditions of the trade

thisis one of my fav. levels along with belding manor and invitation to a party. i have beat it and can't stop playing it but cant get some things to work

1. meeting the guy in the bar and posioning

2. getting into the conference

3. getting the flowers

i always get the master key and turn off the metal detectors

4. how do you use dianas letter

5. can you kill the target in the sauna

6. what is the easiest way to kill the old guy in the speedo with out surprising the other guys

thanks a lot......i think there should be another level in 4 that has a hotel....and party level like in 2......anyone agree???

Ok, to answer the questions I can:

1) Poisoning. Get the poison from the desk in the dentist's office, then go back down to the bar. You have to wait until Fuchs isn't in the bar to talk to the bartender. He'll move away for a few minutes. Make sure the guard doesn't see you go behind the bar. Poison the whiskey while you are back there. There are also two other things you can do back there that I will cover in those questions.

2) Conference. There is no conference, yet. When you are behind the bar you can get into the rooms, but they are empty.

3) Flowers. Again, you can get into the florists via a back entrance from....
you guessed it, behind the bar. You do have to pick a lock to get in. Big deal.

4) Letter. You don't really use it. It's just a clue as to the delivery in the florists. You'll notice the HINT about the order being ready doesn't appear until you pick up the letter.

5) Sauna. Yes, you can kill Fuchs in the sauna. In the room before the sauna there is a red valve handle on the wall. Wait until Fuchs goes into the sauna, move over near the handle, and you can turn it. It cranks the heat up so high in the sauna Fuchs has a heart attack and keels over.

6) The prune. Not sure. I jump from the balcony of room 203, then dispose of the inside guard and the target. The outside guard never knows I am there. You might be able to sneak past the guard when he is in the room or on the balcony, not sure. I was unable to do it, but I only tried it once.

I´m trapped in this level. As, always I want to finish all levels in silent assassin, and the problem is getting past the guards to get to the X-ray door. There are 2 guards guarding each of the entrances... I´ve tried changing to police and to bellboy, but doesn´t work. What´s the catch?

Don't go in that way. If you go to the third floor on the other side of the hotel, there is a door that leads to the roof above the pool. The dentist's office has an open window onto the roof, and you can hop in there. There's one guard in the office, and another in the examining room, but you'll never have to deal with the hallway guards at all if you go in and out via the window.

This was a fun level but apparently I've missed out on some neat stuff and need to play this game again. I've never achieved silent assassin and never even knew about it until now. As usual I get frustrated and leave no survivors.

lol its so much fun! I love the ghost. I used the fiber wire to kill it(again) lol and i draged it around the hotel. I got intouble when i brought it to the murder :-D

How discretly do you get into the flower shop and get the SPAS 12?

Here is how I achieved Silent Assassin on the Xbox (Don't know if it differs on other game systems or the PC). Obviously, if you don't want to spoil this level then stop reading.

1. When the level begins drop off all of your guns and pick up the conference ID.

2. Go inside the hotel and on the side of the stairs to the left run to that door and pick the lock. Check your map beforehand to make sure nobody is walking by there.

3. Go inside and use your syringe to neutralize the cop. Then take out your fiberwires and kill Fuchs. Make sure you take the key to the X-ray room.

4. Go to the 2nd floor, East Wing. Along the far right side of the wing are numerous rooms, one of your targets is in the 4th one up.

5. Wait until nobody is around and pick the lock to the bottom right room, there is someone in there but he's sleeping.... Walk out onto the balcony.

6. Use your map of the 2nd floor to time when the woman and the guard decide to walk onto the balcony and jump across until you get to the balcony outside of your target's room.

7. Sneak in and kill the inside guard with your fiberwire then sneak into the bathroom and kill Fuchs. Make sure to pick up the bombcase.

8. Go out on the balcony and jump across to the room past Fuch's at the end of the wing. Go inside, pick the lock and casually walk out.

9. Go to the North end of the wing where there are stairs up, take them then go to the door at the Northwestern end of the East Wing. This door will lead you onto a rooftop.

10. Follow the rooftop to the otherside where there is a window there and a patrolling guard. Use the map and time it to when he's staring out the window.

11. Enter the room stealthily and sneak out the door at the South end. Move to the left to the door next to it. There is a guard here, time his movements then go in and kill him stealthily.

12. There is a small room to the left where there is an information sign, this is where the bomb is. Pick it up. 47 will put it in the case, otherwise you'll be walking around with a chemical bomb which will trigger alerts.

13. Casually walk out and exit and you'll have silent assassin.

(I noticed that each level has a different tolerance level for aggression to achieve silent assassin. On this level you are allowed to kill 2 enemies)
