No. Neither Mothra nor a smog monster appear in that movie. Instead, there's a grinning robot that likes to shake hands.

Edit: No Monster Zero either. But we're getting closer

OK, I'm saying "Godzilla Versus Megalon" with a fair bit of confidence... but again, it's googalicious.

OMG! I don't check for a couple days and there is a Godzilla movie posted and guessed before I get a chance. It is a conspiracy.

The guy in front looks very familiar, but I can't place him. Could we get a hint?

littlek enters the burrick inn and everyone grows quiet with the exception of a few giggles and a lot of sideways glances. She looks about the Inn...something isn't quite right.

Laz sneaks in under the shadows... eyes the room... and sees littlek on the hunt. Laz makes his way to bravus and passes him a note. it reads: is it Donnie Darko, or The Good Girl?

Heh, it's one of those, meaning you've correctly identified the (front) actor as Jake Gylenhaal (sp?) You have to plump for one or the other in order to be awarded the prize, though!

Afraid not, but it sounds as though it'd be *really* testing your patience to make you post the other one at this stage.

It is indeed Donnie Darko. You're up!

negative on guess littlek.

All my settings were all reset. my toolbar was hidden.. i never hide it. and my firewall logged 1 IP address about 100 times in a row... all around the time I assume it was hacked. I checked my firewall, and the auto update was turned off. so it wasn't up to date last night.

no virus tho. and all files seem to be intact. just very suspicious things happened. and they've never happened before this dramatically. but it's all better now. up-to-date. (watch yourselves out there. it's rough)

OK here's my next one. I had promised to limit myself to Oscar winners--no more Straw Dogs, no more Island of Lost Souls. But I thought it would be appropriate today to choose a film of the late President Reagan. I own only two of his films on DVD, one of which is really obscure. This is from the other one which, so far as I know, did not win an Oscar.

If I'm not mistaken, that young whippersnapper in the backseat is none other than Norman Fell (aka Mr Roper), which means that this film is THE KILLERS.

You got it, MsLedd. And that is indeed Mr. Roper in the back seat (I guess this was before he married Mrs. Roper). This was a remake of the wonderful 1946 film which is one of my all-time favorites. This version isn't bad either although it's a completely different kind of film.

MsLedd, you're up!

Whee! \o/

BTW, you were right that there were no Oscars for the film, but Lee Marvin won a BAFTA Film Award for Best Foreign Actor.

Okay here we go... The next entry is: Name the tacky jewellry!
