Default NEW FM: The Mystic Lady

Hello Taffettes and Taffers,

my new FM The Mystic Lady is now available at

http://thiefmissions.com/

(thank you Jason for this ultra-quick upload )

Well, more precisely it wasn't me who built this FM. My husband and I got this funny FM from CHRISTINE (*hug*) as a wedding-gift...

If you want to have a look on a few screenshots first... No problem... here they are:

http://hometown.aol.de/zinkchristine/pageM011.html/

Special thanks to Nightwalker and her husband, they gave this FM what it really needed: English texts!

Have Fun!

Dinky

Looks beautiful! I'm downloading it now!

Edit: Nice place! Sorry for the home invasion Dinky, but I just couldnt resist the call of so much treasure! You even had Milka bars! My grandmother went to Germany two years ago and brought one home as a gift. Needless to say that souvenir didnt last long.

Default For those who can't read the english texts

Thanks John D.

For those who already downloaded the version with the missing english texts:

This was a bug because I forgot to format the english txt-files into strings.

I'm very embarrassed and hope you can forgive me this bad fault.

To avoid that you need to download the whole mission again, you can also fix the bug by downloading this small file.
After the download simply unzip the file in your Thief2-folder ('The Mystic Lady' needs to be already installed via Darkloader)

I'm getting a NOT FOUND for THIEFMISSIONS. Any one else?

Also problems with a few other sites. EIDOS and TTLG come in OK as well as a few of the other places I go to so I don't think it is at my end of the scale.

Any comments on other users finding a few sites that seem lost this morning?

Everything's been loading fine for me this morning. TTLG was a bit slow a couple of times but that's not usual.

The Mystic Lady is a very fun mission and I think it must be the most unusual and thoughtful wedding gift ever! It's full of all the usual wonderful detail that's Christine's specialty.

Thanks much! This has been a really fun one and very well made. I've got all the objectives except 'pinching the cake', I can't find the key . I've run around the place 3 times now...hint?

I have to admit when I entered the children's playroom, I was a little nervous when I saw the toys.....It reminded me of a bad experience I had while playing the Night Falcon!
