Default ATI for Notebooks - A possible solution

I've had lots of problems with my ATI Raedon 9000 Mobility and Deus Ex:IV.

But i've found a possible solution to the problem of the screen going 'grey' or 'texture shrouding' as some of you more technical guys have called it.

My problem was I couldn't install new drivers from ATI as my drivers are apparently specialised for my notebook. But hope is nigh, as I just stumbled across a seemingly hopeful solution. If you visit the below link, you can download newer drivers which over-ride your manufacter's crappy old non-workable ones.

I have yet to try this, but they have a huge host of drivers for download, and it seems like the most likely solution to the problem.

Hope it helps, i'll post if it fixes it... but if you try it, have a spare copy of your older drivers encase there is a huge problem.

It also appears to be a piece of software which 'nicks' bits off the newest ATI Catalyst driver... nice
