interesting ideas. although, i think raziel should stay as is in the blade. which is why, for all of you raziel fans out there (myself included), they should make another game solely about raziel. however, instead of his being in wraith form, they need to make a game where you play as vampire raziel through the ages. it would explain what happened between the time raziel was reborn and the time he was rereborn lol. they could make a few games like that actually, where raziel in his vampire form met various challenges before his wings were torn off. where he had different enemies in each game, all of which were human. some even being rogue vampires in which he was assigned by kain to hunt down and kill. to be honest, they left a lot of raziel's story out of the whole saga, and yet raziel was a major role. i think it'd do him some justice to have a couple games made about his vampire life.

Plus had he come back and landed in the future like in my GDD, he'll get a funeral from the dhampir... Heh. -devilish as she plots evilly the story- Anyway, as far as I understand the whole thing the most logical thing without affecting the whole time is to bring his 'future' self back, the deranged spirit. But in all, I need to go over some details before that can happen. -puts icepack- That is an interesting idea you got there, though. For all you know those vampires could have been against another army of humans like Sarafan. I even had this idea about V. Raziel and it kinda has to do with my dhampir character in my GDD.. And drew it down, posted it up and titled it: Rose Among Black Thorns. http://vickie-believe.deviantart.com...over-102462330Need to do the next page....! X3 In all, a little bit of exploration in his undead life wouldn't hurt us. XD And really, since when has Raziel's actions ever been considered justice? To him yes. But I doubt to a few others. XP |

XD good point. But as I've said, I think they should make a game solely about him. There's SO much that we do not know.

I Like very much LoK games, even I don't speak very well english I will try to explain clearly my thought. Maybe LoK need a new character in the 6th game who will help Raziel and Kain ^^. A Razielim girl who had survive or a vampire girl maybe .
It can be great. I have my own Idea about that so I didn't want to influence the others.

Anyway, the idea of "Razielim girl" sounds pretty odd. I really like Raziel, he's my favorite character in the whole series, but that would be a bit too much. Seriously... A vampire girl, oh well resurrecting Umah would be enough. ![]() I agree!

rehashing an old, old topic... but Deus Ex3's being made, so i'm hopeful
now, there's a lot that can be said about LoK. I've played them all, starting with BO1, which I always remembered as one of the best, and most challenging games out there (mind you, I was about 12 when i first played it, and about 17 when i finally went back and managed to finish it) I've played all of LoK games on a PC, so when readng my wishlist, please keep that. in mind. whilst I have nothing against console gamers, PC will always be the king of gaming as far as i'm concerned. so, what I want from LoK 6: a conclusion to one of the most awesome and complex stories in gaming history (I am unacquanted with MGS), so in my experience, LoK is THE best story out there. But it's gotten too complicated. End it. Please the story must explain the following: How did Vorador survive into BO2? and will Kain be able to fulfill his role as Scion of Balance? that is all. the whole "raziel-janos-redemption of hylden" set of issues is entirely optional. I would, of course, love to get some more time-hopping, since there are at least 3 eras i'd like to see: 1) the Demon dimension--its entirety, and how the Hylden survived and adapted to it. 2) Nosgoth's deep past--before the war of the Ancients, and the collapse of their civilization. 3) return to the Lost city of BO1 era--and it's snake-inspired Amerindindian architectural motifs and werewolves--since it's apparently coincidal with the Abyss, perhaps it can be linked to the EG? I also really liked the steampunk feel of BO2, and would love to see more of it. I agree that the developers should bring back the interactive world of SR1 and (much more so!), BO1 and 2. If we cover any age that's not -post Kain's Empire's victory, there should be humans around--it's their world now,a nd it should be fairly interactive. I'm not suggesting making Nosgoth a GTA-sandbox-type world, but the atmospheric feel that was one of the things the writers got right in BO2 (with all the conversations you could overhear if you so chose), would be a nice touch. There should be hidden areas that can be explored to gain deeper understanding of the world--I wouldn't call them "optional quests", because LOK is not an RPG anymore, and we don't want a dramatic genre shift, but it'd be cool to be able to find bandit hideouts and kill them for rewards in Nosgoth, or explore the Demon Dimension wastelands, fighting demons and rescuing a bunch of Hylden, even though your main objective is to save Janos. like many people, i'd also love to see some old locations revisited--Malek's Bastion, or the Dark Eden being my favourites. I defintely think that "return to the roots" as far as exploration and open world's concerned would be best. Nosgoth is vast, and we know of at least several major cities, not to mention all the various other landmarks. Gameplay wise: I love the third person camera. I hated Defiance's cinematic camera, but tbhis is the PC gamer talking. combat-wise, Defiance was cool. Kain should never be able to swim, and i'm against him growing wings, ESPECIALLY a la the Ancients--he's a ruthless anti-hero, not an angel, for god's sake! similarly, i'm not sure what to think of his Lupine form--it's cool, for sure, but practically it's not very useful, especially with the jump Gift. The Mist gift should be expanded to be like the original BO, and the Guile gift should make a comeback, since Kain is now alone in a world full of Humans. ok, this is getting a bit convouted, so i'll end off now... |

One thing I keep forgetting about that I'd like in LOK6 is the Chronoplast! Not only would it allow the player to travel freely between any eras visited in the game, but it's a great way to deal with recaps from previous games and flashbacks to events that might not be feasable for Kain to actually visit or revisit.

Alternate Ending: Hylden Victory. Awesome movie of them getting their day of glory and swarming Nosgoth. (This is if the player doesn't do good enough at some button mashing trials. But hylden fans can 'throw the race' to see their fav ending.) Main Ending 1: Kain goes darker than ever. In gameplay, he chooses not to reintegrate the hylden into Nosgoth, betraying them anew. Due to this, vampires are still alone and Elder is strong enough to start beating them down and winning in the future. In desperation, Kain turns to the demons and makes a deal with hell. He infuses himself with hell power as a new demon prince and is able to rid the world of Elder God. Ganks the god, or banishes him, or whatever. But now there's a hell portal open-mouthed at the foot of the pillars so that Kain's throne glows ruddy red in its light, and demons start streaming out as if to claim Nosgoth and drag Kain back to hell. They're here to collect on Kain's contract. Not ideal for Nosgoth. But the freeze frame ending is Kain just smirks, says a few choice words, and jumps into the pit to take the fight to them. This will make uncompromising vampire fans happy. Main Ending 2: Vampires and Hylden unite against the True Enemy. They meet over drinks in hell, the Scion shows them the evidence of how the True Enemy is responsible for jerking them around for millennia, tricking them into their great war and all the suffering that's followed. They've all been pawns, and the way to reclaim their greatness is to whoop up on some dark forces together. (Maybe the peace process is more gradual and trickier than that, but you know, that's the basics). The Scion completes his true mission and the world is brought into balance at last. This will be for Restoration fans. Last edited by TheSquid; 07-18-2010 at 05:46 PM. |

Would be good to see Bo1's Spirit Forges with the explanation of their role and history, and explanation about how Moebius got a vampire that looked like Kain on his side.
And, personally i want a LoK anthology release that comes along with game and contains most recent versions of all LoK games fixed to work fine on modern systems (primarily BO1 and SR), or at least separate releases, but bugfixed and patched to work fine. Mac ports of LoK games would be nice too |

A vampire that looked like Kain? The only thing coming to mind I can figure that you're talking about is the "fight" with Moebius at the end of BO1, where he supposedly brings forth Kain from the future, after the warriors from the past and present Kain faces. This has been explained as one of Moebius' "illusions," just like the one of his own self Moebius makes to talk to Raziel in the future. I guess you can think of it as being able to make a cloned manifestation that does Moebius' bidding.

The Hylden: yeah, i mean that Moebuis'es illusion. In game it was able to make real damage, so 'illusion' sounds as not very thorough explanation. That trick seems to be very powerful, allowing to send messages to past & future, taking over things that's not exist yet or never will be. So here can be some moment telling about nature of Time Streaming. Something like Kain sending message to himself via such decoy. If Time Streamer's magic can create such real toys, one could create a Vorador's copy

I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be perceived as an illusion even before SR2 came along, otherwise it would have made moot the entire "sacrifice or live on" choice at the end of the game by proving that Kain refused to kill himself.
