Exclamation Trapped in Pauls Secret cupboard

Hi

I am playing DX again for the umpteenth time doing the (bringing Uncle Lebedev Home ) bit. Having a bit of a mess-about on the way.
I am at Pauls place just after the top nobs have activated his killswitch.
I clean out his secret cupboard , push the button to close the doors whilst reversing out and I find I am stuck.Unable to move.
On closer inspection I appear to be inside the right hand door. Can only move about a yard along the doors width.
I can see out into the room and also into the cupboard even thought the doors are closed.I cant reach the switch to open the doors again.I'm stuffed.Never done that before.

Stupid boy (Captain Mainwaring voice )

Luckily I saved just prior to the incident.

Anybody else been trapped anywhere in the game?

Lightbulb

Can you hit the switch on the left (or the other left) that opens and closes the door? That should free you.

I've never been trapped IN a place in Deus Ex on my Mac. Although Half-Life PS2 suffers from this ability to trap you in places.

I take it you tried crouching? I got stuck in Manderley's office door one time, and escaped by crouching (I was stuck between the two cross bars).
