Default Slick Trick

Do you have "minimal" solutions to game problems or levels that you would like to brag about? Please post them here especially if you think others might like to try them out. By "minimal" I mean using the least amount of weapon, biomod and ammo resources as possible. Or maybe you have found something using the least effort, the quickest route or perhaps just a cool way of doing things that you feel like detailing for us.

I assume that no one will want to read this thread unless they have played through the entire game.

For example:
1) You can draw all of the mammals out of hangar 24 and kill them including the scientist from the hall way if you set off the box of explosive in front of the hangar door.
2) Just one spider bot can be used to clear out all of the transgenics in the Versalife interior.
3) You can break into the penthouse vault without any weapons or biomods
4) You can spare the Tarsis headmasters life, turn him in for a reward and kill him later in the Cairo apartments

I cleared out the templar church area using 6 pistol shots and two emp grenades.

OK I'll guess that the EMP grenades were for the Armored Guard and the Bot, right?

edit:
By the way, what kind of biomods did you use?

potential spoilers

Upper Seattle. Walk up to thugs, refuse to hand over cash, run towards patrolling bot. Thugs attack, causing bot and SSC guards to retaliate. Result = three dead thugs, one dead SSC guard and lots of goodies.

Templar recruiting booth in Cairo. Switch on cloak, plant concussion grenade between two templars, walk away, disable cloak. Result = two dead templars and an opened safe.

thegrommit{Upper Seattle. Walk up to thugs, refuse to hand over cash, run towards patrolling bot.}

Wow, thanks for this! I have discovered a whole new game for myself (I'm easily amused.) Always before I either confronted Red and his two buddies directly or hid in or by the trash dumpster and let the Bot help me out. I never thought of running back toward the coffee shop. To "summon the authorities."

Try this:
Talk to everyone on the level to get their automatic scripting done with. Talk to officer Gibbs and Lawson. Talk to Red and the thugs and wimp out with the "let me go to the ATM" line. Talk to the Order seeking Gal. Talk to the Coffee shop owner and the invester. Talk to the paranoid guy that says "I don't think I know you." Then save.

Now you can reload this level over and over and watch a different show each time. Just go to the inclinator area and shoot once at Red or his buddies when the bot isn't looking and run back to the bot or to Lawson and Gibbs or to the coffee Shop and watch the whole town get involved in the action.

It is different every time.

Once (the Seeker must have been watching) just after I shot and ran a female voice said "So much for a stealthy approach."
Once Gibbs searching for a fleeing thug hiding in the inclinator area boxes said "Section 104 Evading the police"
Once Gibbs or Lawson said "I'll Show you how we scrape scum like you off the street."

They all have many lines. The Coffee shop manager says once after it was all over and he was going back into his shop "Fun Fun Fun."

Like I said, I am easily amused.

The emp grenades were used for the rocket turret and the aero-security bot. I made good use of cloak, esd, vision, and strength.

I took out the bot first, went around the building, while cloaked. I came up to a guard. I knocked her out, one hit. I then mantled up into the broken window, and took the stairs to the part above the main floor of the church. I tossed an emp grenade over the edge, disabling the turret. The noise drew the attention of the three remaining enemies, who approached the turret. I peeked over the edge and got a clean two headshots on each of them... I guess I forgot to tell you I was using the assassin pistol.

I popped everyone at the mosque with a baton, though it was kinda costly in mana..I mean bioenergy. Keeping up the speed and using the electrostatic discharge.

Opps. wrong church.

Ha Ha! We are talking about the same one THIS time.

So doesn't the Armored Templar Blow up and give you damage when you sneak up on him and whack him?

How many whacks did it take to bring down the bot?

-----------
"Manna?" Didn't that term go out with Button shoes and whale bone collar stays?

I always get killed when I melee they armored templar knights, so I use ranged weapons instead.

I think the DX1 MJ-12 commandos (those big guys with rocket launchers hidden up their sleeves) also blow up when they are killed, right?

It has been a long time so I am not sure but I think that it is only the "suit and tie people" with the spooky echo voice that explode when killed.

Nah. Those are the MIB's.

Here's what happenned to me in Sophia Sak's place. Whack the guy in front of the gate, and the one in front of her office. Then, when she comes out with her bodyguard, run outside to the roof . Get behind one of the big crates, and the turret should begin shooting the SSC soldiers and her. (I'm pretty sure it was a glitch, or i was very very lucky, but i guess it doesn't hurt to try)
