Default custom resolutions?

I've got a projector monitor that's best resolution is kinda funky, 1152x648, and i know in other Unreal warfare engines, you just type in setres (width)x(height)x(color bits), but there's no console... and when the game starts up, it's 640x480, which this monitor really doesn't like to do, any tips?

If you mean that you want to edit DX:IW's start up resolution, then this might help. I posted this on my last thread. It works for any DX:IW approved OS.

-=An option to try with those who are having problems with "blackscreen/crashing" with OS WIN98=-

I too had this problem with my game. You might want to give this angle a shot:

Go into you're Default.ini file and edit the following code:

StartupFullscreen=False
WindowedViewportX=800
WindowedViewportY=600

This will obviously run DX:IW in a default windowed mode. Though you can do this from your desktop icon properties, my game didn't stop crashing until I completely negated DX:IW's ability to startup in fullscreen mode. Note that you don't have to edit windowed veiwport axes to 800x600 (DX:IW might run smoother at default 640x480) but it gives you more viewing area. Also, even if you're not having problems with crashing, you might want to try this -- I have all my options set to max specs and hardly ever skip in frame rate.

If you wouldn't mind taking a look at my thread "Takes a minute to load," I would greatly appreciate your input.
