Default My first Defiance Desktop wallpaper [Possible Spoilers]

Hey guys, I already sent this to Wolf Reven over at Nosgoth.net, but you know how he is with updating. So I figured I'd host this at my own webspace for awhile so everyone could see it.

For some odd reason this reminds me of pepsi, but it wasnt meant to. The Kain side is more prominent, while the Raziel side is more ghostly, emphasizing their characteristics.

The symbol in the middle is meant to represent the joining of the Spirit Element and the Scion of Balance. I did a little cut job and interlocked them. The purple coloring is a layer overlay. Also the emblem isnt exactly intact, it was put together than put into a circular marquee, where I used the smudge tool to create that blurred look to the outside of it, giving the whole emblem a polished metal look. There's a yellow glow in the back of it, just to make it stand out a bit more.

Enjoy:

ScionSpirit

I thought I'd also mention that my next series will be to redo the Reavers series I did in SR2, to fit the new themes surrounding the Reavers, and also to try to cover the Balance Emblem. If I can find some good images of it. If anyone get can get me a high resolution screen shot of the completed Balance Emblem in Kain's HUB, that'd be awesome.

Also, since the Dark and Light Reavers are different from the rest, would a wallpaper based on the cavern puzzles interest anyone. The Dark Stone and the Faceted Stone?

Thanks in advance for all feedback.

OOH! It's nice! In the middle you combined the balance and spiritforge symbols, right?
Pretty cool!

I dont tend to like to emboss faces of people, it just looks like a cheap effect to me.

I tend to work off the symbols of the game now. My favorites of all my work are my Dumahim Wallpaper and my Earth Reaver Wallpaper.

I had the Earth Reaver one on my desktop forever.
