Need Help!!!

I'm stuck in blood omen 2, right after defeat the first boss in the broken bridge I cannot reach the other side even using the jump new dark gift, i have tried hundreds of times and I'm stuck, I really apreciate any help.

right after you defeat the first boss as soon as you walk out the place where you fought him, the first place when you have to use the jump dark gift, you have to reach the other side jumping, I'm stuck right there, I cannot reach the other side even with the jump dark gift as supposed to be.

Head through the open door after gaining the ability "Jump". Use the Dark
Gift to jump from the broken platform to your right to the other side. From
the other platform, go to the left and into the tunnel to end the chapter.

That's exactly the problem, I cannot reach the other side of the platform even with the "jump" gift

Try moving the "jump cursor" to the left and as far back as possible before moving it back to the right onto the other side of the bridge. Get as close to the edge as possible.

You can always jump down and try to Gift jump out of the pit. I think that is possible as well.

Is the jump target turning purple, or staying white?

I tried from many diferent places, and the cursor is always white, id dont get close to the other side, it points just a little more than a middle of the way
