You know, if he did come back against the EG I'd kill him again all the same.

Me too, I HATE Moebius, there is no way you can even begin to feel the rage I feel when his name is mentioned, in fact, I want him to come back just so I can kill him AGAIN! With all the crap he puts you through in BO1 and SR2 I'm supprized that they didn't make a mini-game for just beating him up. By the way, I doubt your going to find many friends when it comes to this subject, but it is a good one to bring up, and I congradulate you for that, but I can see this thread turning into more of a "How Would YOU Kill Moebius?" thread. Keep at it though!

through the storyline I was taught to abhor the puppet that is called Moebius...he grew annoying really quick..quite simply just being a bitter old man who knew too much.

Default DestinyOfKain ......

.....Moe wasn't an old man who knew to much. He was a puppeted manipulative old man who knew to much. But, who besides the "Elder God" hasn't somehow or another been a puppet somehow? Hard question. Only a couple of Vamps, but that was it.

You people are nutty.

I love Moebius for the same reason I love Iago, Lady MacBeth, Palpatine, Grima Wormtongue, Saruman, etc. etc. They're infuriating because they're always ruining things for the protagonist, sure, but they're so devious, witty, and fun, how can you NOT respect them?

Moebius, unlike Raziel, is important to every Legacy of Kain game (even Blood Omen 2 -- remember who was responsible for the Eternal Prison?). His influence on Nosgoth is absolutely pivotal.

While I think making ultimatums over his presence in the next game is silly, I admit I would be disappointed if he didn't at least get a cameo.

Yes ultimatums are a little over the top, I admit that, but then again how can you not bring nosgoth's manipulator into play yet again but for good not evil.

If anybody has felt as they wanted to strangle moebius then he did his job. He is in the game for that reason to make your life miserable. He better be in the next game or else the legacy of kain will not be as interesting.

Plus no matter how good simon or micheal are at their craft, you have to admit that richard doyle is right up there with them in terms of skill and bringing the character to life.

Just watch the outakes, he is not only hilarious but also very in tune with the character himself. Moebius is as quotable as kain and that has to count for something.

Heh heh, that pretty much sums up my sentiments exactly.

Absolutely. I LOVE to watch the recording sessions from SR2. He has all these fabulous little physical nuances that make it seem like you're watching not Richard Doyle with Moebius' voice but Moebius. It's the little sidelong sneers, irked frowns, and various other signs of hauteur and disdain that really bring out the character.

Moebius can exist in any game. He's a time streamer. So what if he dies in blood omen era? He managed to travel all over the place in SR2. Rembmer the future wasteland? We know that was no ghost. He can go anywhere he wants, whenever he wants.

Wait, Moe was responsible for the eternal prizon? That's my favorite level, HOW DARE HE TAKE CREDIT FOR IT(even if he really was responsible, the thought of enjoying something that Moe made sends shivers down my spine). Why did he make it anyway?

I dont really think that moe was responsible for the eternal prison. Its obvious that the prison was build far back in history, otherwise the hylden who built the device wouldn't bee in it. As far as that moe statue at the end of that chapter, I figure that moe must have went there at some point of his life and put it there. My theory is that the eternal prison must have some relation to the time guardians since 'eternal' is an aspect of time. I cant really find the words to explain it but I hope you get what i mean

Moebius could possibly be in next game. Elder God is not dead, just "burrowed deeper" now. "I am eternal, now and always" - that's a fact. Raziel sucked him in thus delivering his soul to Elder God. So...he can ressurect him, but... as i suspect he cannot ressurect him in his current state only give his soul "another chance" - start his life from begining.
I wouldn't be disappointed if he wouldn't appear in next possible game. Amy can find other ways and possibly other main characters to continue these series.

I would like it if he appeared in the next series. After all, there may be more time streaming needed to resolve the whole story into at least the next step towards the conclusion. Though I wont be dissappointed if he's not there since its probably not a good idea to strecth this 'resurrecting' game too far. Or maybe if he was resurrected as a vampire, now that would be very much interesting...

Thumbs up Moe's coming back, I bet my hat on it...

It's not a true Nosgothic plot without Moe. He is central to the story. He's the reason the Vampire Genocide was revived after William's death. He led the Sarafan Sect in their hunting of vampires. He LOATHES the entire race. He was there from the beginning, the original human Time Guardian.

Moe isn't going anywhere. He'll pop up somewhere. In a different time, perhaps. But he's vital.

Mr Doyle is a fantastic voice actor. Wouldn't be the same without him. He's funny, too. He pairs perfectly with Michael.

Plus, Richard Doyle has an awesome motorcycle.

I say bring Moebius back, just for the sake of killing him, again!

I agree, I'd like to kill him again, I just love to go back and watch him die in BO1 AND Defiance, maybe it'll become a trend, he comes back, dies a horrible death, Kain and Raz get a good laugh from it, then he comes back again!

Moebius will not be coming back this time, his role in the series is complete, why and how well being that Raziel Consumed his Soul, that pretty much made it impossible for Moebius to come back, when moebius died in BO1, Raziel wasnt around to take in his soul, which allowed Moebius to come back and be revived.

The EG, always said that Raziel was simply a devourer of souls, and that he was, the moment Raziel Devoured the soul of Moebius, he ended him completely, Moebius can no longer be apart of the Wheel Of Fate, his soul will never find its course again. Which is why the EG said it was irrelevant for Raziel to consume his soul, he didnt care because, there was nothing left for Moebius to do.

I gotta feeling, there gonna create another charactor to some what take his place, and his role will pretty much be the same, only it wont be Moebius.

Default OMG!!

I agree that Moby shouldn't keep coming back game after game. He's already done it twice. Can you imagine LOK turning into a pseudo South Park?

EG to Kain/Raz: "OMG, you killed Mobeus! You bastards!" - LOL!!!
