OK, simple question : Why oh why do us fans in Europe have to wait so long for the game to be released here???????
Already on retailer's sites I see the game will be available here in Belgium on the 5th of March 2004!!!! This cannot be possible when the game is already out for a month in the USA? I mean, the game is finished no? They can't possibly be shipping this game by rowing boat... |

I sooo agree with that! I mean, don't we deserve all the same priviliges as the U.S.?
I understand if it is released a little later here, but 4-5 months is not 'little'! |

That's why I ordered mine at Gamestop.com...
As I see on the sites.. I think their shipping-rates aren't that bad... and they ship to other countries ![]() But still you'd have to pay extra... I just finished mine and liked it a lot... so no regret on the extra money in my case. So now my copy says: "not for sale outside of North America." ;-) One thing is obvious though... I think sales would be MUCH better.. if they'd releas it in all countries.. at the same time... Especially for PC-versions (With the XBox NTSC-PALL stuff etc... ??) And it's not a translation problem... Cause they could just ship US-verions first... with a big "US-ENGLISH ONLY!" sticker on it... and later bring out the translated versions for those who don't want english... But just so that the true fanatics can get their hands on a copy easily right away ![]() + I'm dutch... and I absolutely DON'T CARE about the fact that my manual is in all English... |

Bump again to have an answer!!
It is a very simple question : WHY is it so late here?? And don't give an answer like "Marketing issues". Just tell us why... can't be that difficult to explain? |
