Settings not being saved

Hey guys ,

I just noticed that my settings aren't being saved when i quit the game and start it back up. I have to go back everytime I load up the game and adjust the video settings and any other setttings that I adjust. I installed the game and patched it with the newly released patch.

Just wondering if there is something I can do to fix this thx for any help or info on this.

The same problem ....
I installed that game as a power user. Then applied the patch v1.1 . Still the same.
Then I was trying to view a few .ini file - nothing interested .

Please help.

The game settings are saved in the save game itself.
When you load a saved game it should go back to the settings you made. It does for me and everyone else so far.

Also, I have not used the patch yet, so I don't know if it fixes it, probably not, but Right Click on the Deus Ex game folder and uncheck read only and apply to all files and folders.
The Default.ini and a couple other files are set as read only by THIER MISTAKE. OOPPSS! (lame excuse)

Let us know if this works or not.
