I'm in favor of that.

I would rather not get all excited about Deus Ex 3 and then find out it doesn't work with my computer (I have updated drivers, pixel shaders and all that crap, its not my system its the game).

Make it XBOX only from the start, so we don't all get our hopes up.

The way DE:IW has been dumbed down the reach a larger audience, I believe that Deus Ex 3 will be played with a deck of cards and a pair of dice.

lmao RichDoggP if you read that the way I did, Ataxonu was shafted in 3.5 simple lines.

Ataxonu, you need to stop being such a , your asking to get flamed and we all know it (and most people have realised and therefore aren't responding). But if you keep trying to piss off the PC owners, you will probably start getting warnings with an eventual ban from the mod's.

If they are going to make DX:3, they need to either make it console only or PC only...this walking the line in between has just made a really shallow PC game.

Given how some people are behaving round here, I'd support this. Getting rid of people who can't read instructions or the text on the back of boxes from the PC gaming community can only be a good thing

I'm glad no one took this thread seriously.

DX3 will be out on both as by the time it comes out you'll be able to connect a Keyboard and mouse to your Xbox. Annnnd HD TV (at least 720p) will be well and truely established. So you see the 'console' version WILL BE the PC version as we will have the technology, and also IS won't treat people like idiots and will have learnt their lesson from this debacle.

Yes but you must understand that I own every platform and have a 5,000 custom built pc (built myself)... I just would rather play it on the xbox than I would on my pc becuase off the way the industry is now making games... It seems that 7 out of 10 pc games now are riddled with bugs and need a patch on the day of release... It is a combination of corperate greedy and rushing...

Seriously, many game devs have to balance marketing budget vs. game development budget vs. what we all crave (hamburgers).

Maybe it's time for pc gamers to use their pyooters for something besides gaming and to learn to enjoy console gaming.
Hamburgers are the choice of the next generation.

Why would this thread have more of a chance of getting locked? It's OK for PC gamers to flame the crap out of console gamers, but not the other way around?

Default The issue
The console is a "stopped frame" in time ( X-box/PS2 is at spring year 2002 PC tech in-time) tech wise where the PC was at that point in time i.e., X-box/PS2 today would be/is a kinda outdated PC.

Just that PC gamers has to look at the backwards compability tech. in games that the console has to run at is a problem when these ports shows up ( see DX2, Cache mem set to 1 Meg in ini.file) and if the newest PC tech. would be at input to the today console standard it would not work.

The future console would be so expensive to run/buy if it would keep up to 100% with PC.

( putting on flame protection )

NEWSFLASH ! 3drealms and Valve just confirmed Duke Nukem Forever and Half Life 2 to be Multiplatform! ..due to decreasing xbox sales microsoft forced the release date to pre x-mas sellings.. containing 4 levels each and non moving, but still amazing looking elephants to shoot at !

would be interesting if consolegamers would switch to mouse and keyboard if availiable for fps(i think gamecube supports it)

ok..... not only Xboxed.... maybe they could add a Wizard that helps you with the hassle of choosing weapons...., plus somehow...... making the ammo plug and play was very nice on Dx: IW

...Or perhaps Ion Storm could make it even simpler for the console crowd and all you'd have to do is press Start to begin a 90 minute cutscene followed by the prompt "Replay Game?"...
