I personally would like a dvd of all the LOK cinemas ever created in order of the games. Just so you can watch the whole story unfold with out having to put in another CD and so on.

Newbeing, that's a GREAT idea!

Instead of playing the games consecutively (not like that's bad), you can watch it like a movie. Perhaps they could also not only put in the major cinematics (like in Defiance), they could also put in the different murals in the forges that Raz found in SR2. The CD would start out as BO1's intro, so on and so forth, and maybe new in-game technology, like what's used in Defiance, can be utilized to recreate scenes in BO1 that were not FMV (you know, Azimuth, the Dark Scripture, etc). Continue that with SR1 (also revamped with new technology, but still keep the FMV intro), with defining moments. Move on to SR2 which doesn't need any spiffing up in my opinion, and then Defiance, and then carry on.

It would be great if something like this was released at the end of the series, like an visual novel. Since that's what the series essentially is: an interactive epic.

(PS LadyD go with SR2 Squiddy he's just the right size!)

Arrow The movie?

Hey, at this day and age, we could do a movie that would do the Legacy of Kain story justice, but unfortunately, it would have to be done by Peter Jackson and his team to get it done correctly.

Here's an idea - somebody send him all the games to play, he'll get as much into the story as we did and realize that this movie just has to be made.

That would be nice....

Question

Live action, or CGI?

CGI is a must. Live action will kill it.

Make it available on DVD. Boxed set. With extras, outtakes, and commentary by Ms Hennig.

The Seer action figure.

Why would it have to be done by Peter Jackson? The guy makes one (ok 3, but they were filmed at once) movie and he's now the only one?

Honestly, if CD had the money to put into it, they wouldn't need Hollywood folks but to distribute it, at least if they went the full CGI route many suggest. Just have whoever did the SR1 & 2 openings in charge of it, keep the same voice talent, and make sure Amy's writing the script.

Only if they do a live action + CGI version (since full live action would be unreasonable for stuff like the demons or the evolved vampires) will there be issues since then you need to really cast the more human characters and doing so could mean new voices.

Still though, if it were to ever happen, someone would need to make dead certain that whoever is in charge of the project doesn't decide they know better and try to rewrite the whole story like the 90% of other video game movies that all became garbage.

I am definitely gonna have to say leave it in the form it was meant to be in. A videogame. Live action wouldnt do it justice, besides you couldnt find an actor with no organs or lower jaw and all the other necessary details to play Raz anyway.

Dude. No. Shut up that would be too freakin sweet. Just, no, nothing should ever be that freakin sweet. There would be some sort of paradox that would destroy the universe.

I'm a little peeved at Peter Jackson, actually. I think Christopher Lee is, too.

-Spoilers for Return of the King ahead-

I'd really like to see that DVD idea come to fruition. I'd buy it, even if the old cinematics weren't redone. It reminds me of the DVD they shipped with the Warcraft 3 box set. It had all the cinematics for the game on it. Cool stuff.

A friend linked me to it the other day. I'll see if I can get the link again. I'm pretty sure it's solid info, though. I hate it, too.

Thumbs up Sharp shiny objects are fun!

My sister and I, we have a friend, and he collects weaponry, and he's got this sword called Dracula (Drac), and he's dubbed it The Reaver because it's all curvey and has a skull hilt (but not quite like the Soul Reaver). My sister does B&W photography and she used Drac and our friend. Very nice pictures.

I'm going to get a custom-made Reaver. Well, I want to. Wanna mount it on my wall for all to see. There's a store on a main shopping street called Treasures 86 (on 86th street) that sells all kinds of beautiful weaponry. Not sure if they do custom jobs, but I'd like to find out. I'll save all my money for one.

And my best friend Chrissy is going to stare at me weird and say "You're sick". Then I'll smile at her and say "What else is new?".

I wouldn't mind a Raziel Poster by Joe Madureira (hell i wouldn't mind the one he drew for the cover of PSM for SR1) and i'd definately get a huge Raziel Statue if one comes out... unfortunately my girl friend destroyed my collection of MGS action figures from McFarlane toys so i don't think i'll get the action figures for LOK (in fear)

Off the top of my head, I would say AT LEAST $600+ for a very authentic one. Not a real skull, though. Most likely carved ivory. Ivory would look great.

Looks like I'm going to have to save up my paychecks for a looooooooong time before I have the $$$. Considering I make $6.75 an hour, and get paid weekly, and after taxes it's roughly $152, and I don't have a family to support, and I cash the check across the street from work for no fee (and it's right next door to Gamestop - uber temptation), I may be able to do it.

I've never stepped into the place, but my sister and my father have. I gotta go. I must have one. I have a love of sharp shiny things. Sort of like a ferret in a mirror house.

Kain's Soul Reaver sword
I know a place that can make one worthy of something that would appear in the offices of Crystal Dynamics for about $11,600usd. The estimate did include the price of Kain's cape.

I found the price to be pretty decent they have swords that go for over 200k.

This place is beyond amazing though. Everything is hand made, they mine their own steel, spin their own silk you can even come by and watch them work on your sword.
They are located outside of Eureka Springs Arkansas.

No, ivory is not legal, not in some places anyway. It's also untethical, in my opinion. Just use something synthetic that looks similar for pete's sake, save some pathetic animal's life.

I have a feeling thousands of dollars for a replica is completely unrealistic for 95% of the fans, no matter how cool the company is. Even Paul Chen's Golden Oriole katana, some of the finest full tang, live blades around, are only $200-$800.

This wouldn't be some 12 hour 420 stainless steel temper job. These swords are true to their nature.

Red face Yes, it is illegal. Didn't want to offend anyone. Besides, that would cost me limbs.

(Yes, yes, fake ivory. I don't like animal parts. Except organ meats in my chicken soup. Once my sister got the chicken heart in her bowl, and she gave it to meeee. YUM.)

I HAVE FOUND THE HEART OF DARKNESS! AND YOU GO TO MY TUMMY! MUAHAHHAHAHAA!

(that was a sick scene WOOH).

if anyone does happen to find a soul reaver blade send me the site. I really would love to get that sword. It may take me awhile, but it's worth it.

11,000(US) = 22,500(AUS) thats more than half a years work for me!! i'll just keep studying thanks too lazy to work now ....

You'd have to be pretty loaded to spend that kinda money on a sword, besides the FF blade looks better than the soul reaver anyways particularly squall's gunblade!!

Anyways i've actually imported a pretty decent katana from japan from around 850(AUS) which would be like 400 and sumthing US dollars
