1. the Preds have the technology to raise Aliens.
2. the Preds hunt Aliens with bare hands and knives.
3. It's never good for the Humans caught in the middle.

As far as I'm concerned, the Aztec god angle is a sound idea. Makes sense.
Interesting to find out about the von Daniken theories being looked at.
I went to one of his lectures way back when Chariots of the Gods came out.
