What will you be doing on November 12th?

I realize this is unfair to our fellow bretheren over seas, but even you all in Eurpoe can appreciate our excitement about an earlier release date, and forgive me if it seems like I'm gloating

I, for one, amextremely excited. I work 4 days for 10 hours at my job, and coinsodentally I get every Wednesday off. I've actually put myself through the trouble of going to the Video Game store every two weeks or so, making deposits on this game, so I can just walk in and pick it up as soon as it arrives.

My day will consist of me waking up, taking a shower, going to the store before it opens. I'll probably wait at a place where I can see the gates, and wait for it to open. Walk in, get the game, go home and play.

Unfortunately, in my haste, I fear I'll probably finish the game before I really have a chance to enjoy it. (Let's hope there's more than 20 hours of gaming time) I'll probably be screaming "Vae Victus!" every time I kill someone w/ the demi-god Kain. (I know Raziel is a favorite to most, but this is Kain's Legacy)


So, what will you be doing when this game comes out in your area?

Well my was preordered I'll have mine on the 11 not the 12. Only one thing though I have to wait another month meaning Christmas time to get my game and play it. I should've just bought it myself and don't have to wait, but one thing I wanted was the free comic book. Oh well I guess I'll just have to wait and wait and wait and wait. I WANT IT RIGHT NOW. WHY DO I HAVE TO WAIT WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorrow for me isn't it. Well I hope someone out feels my pain.

I'll be scouring these forums to get all the info I can from you americans that can actually play the game while at the same time doing everything I can to aviod reading the spoilers (which I don't know if I'll manage. Me not reading a spoiler is like raziel trying to control the reaver in SR2!)

Maybe I should ask umah to somehow make an anti fneh thing for the forums so I can't get on them at all until the UK release!

Yeah I'm the same. Maybe we should make a UK Gamers thread where we can get the americans to answer our questions spoiler free! I'd love to know if turel is there and a few other things like how much raziel gets compared to kain and info on dark gifts an stuff. Just no SPOILERS outside of knowing characters that appear an stuff.

On the 12th I will like be trying stoically to ignore the fact that the game is released because I still haven't replaced my stolen PS2 or TV. Maybe I will pray to the money gods for a lil cashola to magically flow my way for a change. Until then, no Defiance for me, heh.

Seriously though, I think I will take up avoiding forums like the plague on and after the 12th, rather than breezing through them once in a while like I do now.

We should definitely have a No Spoiler policy on this board for a week or so. We could discuss game mechanics and help out people who are stuck, but we should keep the story a secret for all those weak-willed people who can't help but highlight all that pretty blue space.

That's what the spoiler feature is for, though.

I'm staying the heck away from here once the game arrives, because I know I can't resist highlighting all the blue areas. I don't think it's right to demand that people not talk about it for a week.

I'll give you this -- I find it quite possible that the Ancients' leadership were evil, or at least very ambitious and possibly xenophobic. But the entire race?

I preordered Defiance at EB and they said i could pick it up at nov 23 (since the release date was nov 22 i think) but now im sure ill be able to pick that up nov 12th.

Anyways, ill be dead happy feeling like a youngster again picking this one up being a big time LOK fan.

Ever since the first Blood omen with its very deep and very well almost better than hollywood style voice accent acting just drew me in.
Then you have Soul Reaver which just set it off. So cool story and wicked style of gameplay.
Of course you have the next great 2.

Now you have Raz and Kain back in the same game.
Raz with his cool powers back from SR1 and Kain as usual but whos knows whats new till you play.

So i guess its 16 days away from now for me but for now ill start playing all the LOK games.
