gamepad for pc.. suggestions?

Hi all,

in need of some good advice regarding a good gamepad to use for playing TR 1 & 2 on the pc. Had a gamepad, it didnt work. While reading all the small print I stumbled on the sentence.. not suitable for the game Tombraider.

Planning to play TR again since I now have a new puter.

Anyhow you all play TR a lot.. which gamepad is good for both the older games of TR and the new ones.

Hope you can give me some advice on at least which gamepads to avoid if not able to recommend a gamepad that works superbly with TR1-....

dell dimension 8300
Pentium IV 2.53 GHz
512 MB RAM
Win XP home edition 5.1.2600
(so can simulate win 95/98 & play TR 1 &2!!!)
Video card: 128DDR ATI Radeon 9800
Sound card: creative Audigy 2

Misschien iets van de Gamepad pro van Gravis? die heb je in ieder geval voor de gamepoort aansluiting, ik weet niet of TR1 USB ondersteund. Kun je bij Dixons kopen d8 ik.



Maybe something like the Gamepad Pro from Gravis? That one has a Gameport connection, I don't know if TR1 supports USB controllers.

I'm running the Logitech WingMan RumblePad and it works great with TRAOD. I had a quick look on their website and there is a profile for TR Cronicles as well.

I used the keyboard for all previous TR games, but I must admit I have become a convert to the gamepad.

I have an adaptor to connect the PSX GamePad to the PC... And I use this to play TRAOD... It works very well for me...

I use a Saitek P2500 gamepad. It works well with all the Tomb raider games, it's smooth, reliable and programmable.
