Question trouble with water

I have a room that has a pit to a room below it 'full' of water. When Lara steps into a third room and pulls a lever, a small earthquake happens and when you go back into the second room, (ghasp) the water's gone.
So I had the same floor tile that triggers the earthquake trigger the flipmap of the two rooms with water in them, the one above the water looking down into it and the one actually under water. The flipped room above the water has no water textures over the pit, while the under water room's lighting has changed and the room no longer has water properties.
So what's the problem? Well, when I preview the flipped rooms, everything looks fine. But if I export the game and try to play it, after the earthquake the water texture remains over the pit, but without any 'water' underneath– catch my drift? I don't know why this is happening. Any clues?

In Room editor, go to the flipped room and check if the "W" button is activated....

it's definitely not, because Lara can't swim in the room after the flip occurs…

Cool

Apply the water texture from the water room as double sided.

Default ???

if I try to apply the textures from 'below' (as in under water) I can't. I can only apply them from above.
But the problem seems to really be that I have an earthquake, one a one-time only trigger on the same square as the flipmap trigger. If I delete the earthquake, then the texture disappears when it should.
Why does this happen? Maybe I should just delete the earthquake…?

Actually, this problem would be completely fixed if I could only delete the stupid trigger… but for some reason I can't. I highlight the pink square, hit delete… nothing happens. Somebody help me!

Make sure you click the trigger square until it is outlined in green.

I don't understand why you can't apply textures from below. In the water room, did you set Toggle Opacity 2 on the door to the upper room? If not, you won't be able to texture it. You also can't come up out of the water.
