Monthly LOK Fan Contests [FIC Submissions]

INTRODUCTION:
It's now August and we're already quite late, sorry about that, but let's get the Monthly LOK Fan Contests going! These LOK-themed fan contests consist of 2 cathegories - art and fic.

SIGN-UP RULES:
The contestants have already been signed up. Naturally, new ones are also welcome. New ones can simply "hop on" if they want to. The sign-up thread will remain.

SUBMISSION RULES:
Each month, a subject is chosen by the contest hosts for both cathegories. During the month, the contestants will post their work in either the art or fic thread. The works of art and fic will be posted straight inside the thread for easy viewing. If You're having hosting problems, please contact me, for I will supply You with hosting grounds. Art contestants, please use [img][/img]. Fic contestants, please use copy+paste. The works of art and fic must be about the monthly subject. No discussion in the submissions thread, please.

VOTING RULES:
In the end of every month, about a week before the next month, there will be no more submissions and everyone, including contestants, can vote for their favourite piece of work in each cathegory. One vote per cathegory every month. That means, You can only vote for one work of art and one work of fic each month. Naturally, the contestants can vote for other contestants, but not for theirselves. There will be no poll for voting. Voting will be passed via PM (Private Message). Please send all the PM's to me, Matthew. Only include the name of the artist and the writer. The hosts, Apocrypha Roxy, Winged Eddina and I, may participate in submiting pieces of work, but we wont award ourselves. Naturally, the winner will be the one who gets most votes. The awards are nothing fancy, simply graphical designs to show Your success. There will be one winner in both cathegories each month.

Those were the rules. Now for the real stuff - the first monthly subject.

We came to a conclusion to make things a bit simpler at first. Thus the first monthly subject will be the same for both cathegories.

With all my projects on DeviantArt, and the Starscream contest, I hope I get some time to draw the Ancient Wars before the dead line. In any case, have a good contest everyone! =D
