I was just wondering if there will be a demo for this game. Last I remember, the official word was probably not but Eidos would decide for sure after the game shipped.
I'd really like to see a bit of how the game works before I drop cash on it. Thanks. |

It's worth the money trust me! It's a great game! Just buy the full game.....What level(s) are on the demo?

Well seeing that its been a month since the official release, and there is still no demo, I would wager that there will not be one. The purpose of a demo (ie: give a sample of the game and entice people to buy the full game when it is released) is really defeated once the game hits its official release date. It really makes no sense then for a demo to be released after the game hits stores.
At least that is my opinion anyway.

A game will sell the most copies in the first three months after it's release (and the summer time is the WORST time to release a game). After that, the games are usually taken off the shelves. Eidos still has time to release a demo, but I think they wouldn't release one (IMHO). Demo are meant to show how the games plays. And if Eidos/CORE does release a demo, they have to make sure there's no problems in the demo. They're probably working hard on a patch right now. If they aren't working on a patch, they should be looking for new jobs. I play a lot of demos. I've bought games just because of the demo. And I've avoided games that have had bad demos. If Eidos does put out a demo with the bugs in it that have been mentioned in this forum, they can kiss most of the sales Good-Bye. |
