My buddy enjoys watching me play these tomb raider games and has given me Angel of Darkness as a present. The thing is it is still in the wrapping and I have yet to rip off the packaging. It is just sitting there, waiting for me to place in console and play, and I do want to enjoy it, but then i read these posts and wonder.....

From what I've read it depends on where you are. The American version is full of bugs, but the UK version seems to be OK.

My advice?.....RENT the game before you open the one you have now....that way if you find that you are not happy with it (and this may sound a bit snotty, and not very "Miss Manners" like, so don't anybody slam me for sounding like a jerk, I know its not a very pleasant thing to do)....you can have your friend return the game and get his money back for it while he can, or at the very least get you a game that you may find more appealing.

Gosh, here goes. I do not want to seem rude to my buddy, and I feel rude for not showing as much enthusiasm as I once did, but I do not want him shafted as well especially if I do not demonstrate the true happiness as before. He will know if I am faking it...
That is a splendid idea of renting to try out! And YES what a big suckee baby am I to not realize on my own that I am lucky to have such a wonderful friend as that to give such a heart touching gift that another may not have....
