Default How Many Hours of REAL Gameplay?

For those of you who have finished playing through TRAOD, please tell us how many REAL hours of gameplay there is.

I empahsize REAL hours, as you should make sure to exclude any hours that are not truly gameplay. For example, I sense that many people are struggling to get used to the controls. So please exclude the 2 or 5 or 10 or however many hours you blow on getting familiar with controls (i.e. getting killed, start over etc BECAUSE of unfamiliar controls).

Another example of Non-REAL playing hours depends on the save system. If you can save anywhere anytime then everything is cool. However, if it's not, then please exclude those wasted redundant hours also. For example, if it has the weird save system and you spend 5 hours playing a level that should really take 2 hours only because you have to start clear back at the beginning whenever you fail -- then include only the 2 hours of REAL playtime.

Your info will help late buyers and pc buyers immensely. Thanks much.

Remember, ONLY HOURS OF REAL GAMEPLAY!

LOL. Probably not yet, at least I hope not. But since the PC version isn't coming out until next week, I figured that there will be some who complete it before then.

Cheers

I can see clearly that some of the people here are just complaining for no reason and trying to show that they dont like TR. There is FAR more hours in TR, so those who voted less thatn 5 hours need to chill. Trust me, the game isn't that bad. If you want to continue demonstrating that you dont like TR, then find some other place to do so. Spamming isnt the way to show it

Default agree there....

I agree with ya there Frugo_PL, i really dont think Core would spend around 3 years developing a game that takes less than 5 hours to finish.

I think some ppl are just expressing thier dissapointment by voting under 5 hours.

There is a slight chance i could be wrong though, you never know there could be some super die-hard fan out there that just went full out on the game - come forward who ever you are

I can see now that maybe I should have not had a category under 5 hours. Although, like any poll, with more responses we should get a fairly decent picture. I only included such a low hour estimate because their have been some high profile releases that some expert players that like to run through games could do in 5 or so hours. Unreal II Awakening comes to miind.

Hopefully, the poll won't get sabotaged by this, but I think we'll get the overall picture.

cheers

I thin that the best score ever was something about 3 hours in TR 1. A person beat it that fast... But it took a lot of practice. So I wont believe that a person beat the game in 5 hours on the first day... I can smell sabotours... Gimme a machine gun and get ready to protect Aod

I'd say around 11 to 15.... I wish there was more. I was sorely disappointed I reached the end so quickly. Obviously there are some hidden things that I need to go back and find (I, unlike some people, get through the game on my own before looking for guides and what not). Oh well.. Sounds like there is more in store for Lara in the future.

It took me 36 hours. I got stuck four times for over an hour, obviously I didn't use a guide. I would say a fan could finish in 30 hours or a little less their first time through. Even faster with a guide.
