Default No new FM's???

I know Cheap thief mission is out; the circle is having problems with the webspace and the Keep hasn't shown any new since april...

Does this mean there is absolutely nowhere to get new FM's?

If you read all the posts concerning this, you will see they are working on a solution...and I believe Apache is going to have a lot on his site he's in the midst of setting up...and there are others who are talking about getting a server with mirrors, etc., etc....so just be patient it will come to pass Ta and Good Hunting!

I would have thought that most authors host their own FMs, no?

Zaccheus, personally I'd love to host my own FMs and used to do so, but I had to take them down. The zip files were corrupted for some unknown reason after a while and the problem hasn't been found or fixed. (Right now I'm linking to Komag's site, I hope he doesn't mind.) So, for whatever reasons, hosting your own files isn't an option for all authors.

For some of us who don't have pay-for websites, there's only one option and that's to put our missions up on free websites which is no option because of the limited bandwidth. So until a new host is found, lots of the missions will be offline.

I'm currently trying to get my "ISP provided" webspace up and running, so I can put my FMs on there, without fear of running up a big bandwidth bill if my next FM is popular.
