Default Stunning trailer

Hi all,

Wow, just saw the Tomb Raider Cradle Of Life trailer, it's really amazing! Can't wait to see it in the cinema, as well can't wait to play the game It did gave me a little more "hope" for the game and makes me want to wait for it, I bet it would be really cool.

Best,

Guus.

Wink

Even though the new game and the new movie have nothing to do with each other?

Here's hoping your enthusiasm is infectious!

I thought it was incredibly cheesey "That's the Sunday School version", that's a horrible line, about as horrible as Storm's "Do you know what happens to a Toad when it's struck by lightning? Same thing as everything else."

But I did like the "Oh, well now that I have her majesty's permission." line.

The bluescreen was apparent in the scene where Lara and her buddy are going down backwards on the ropes (cool concept that doesn't seem to be pulled off well).

And the slow-mo of the pair spreading their spider-monkey-like wings was pretty sad.

All in all I think the reason the teaser was so bad is because of poor editing (at a teaser editing level). The movie will undoubtedly be enjoyable, not LOTR enjoyable but still a good pastime. That is, if you're a TR fan like most of us here.

Tom Cruise also said he did all of his cliff jumping scenes for MI:2, granted he did most but not all.

Default HAHAHAHAHHA!!!

Lol, i guess you could say that. I mean, the movie was fun - but that's about it. The editing/story/cinematography/script was pretty bleah.

It was HOLLYWOOD CHEESE what could I say. Typical summer blockbuster type movie.

LOTR was an artful masterpiece full of class and polish and style. The story/script/action/special effects/SCORE/acting - it was all exceptional - and it took you for a real trip.

I know its weird and I'm probably the only one, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the movie! I am SO excited for the second! I just love Angelina Jolie and I think COL looks even better than the first. Especially the scene where she is flipping around dodging bulletfire in the streets of Hong Kong!

I was disapointed with the Trailer, but I have not seen the movie yet, so I should not judge TRII before I have seen it!

I read your "reviews" and took a look myself, I quite liked it
I recognized lots of stuff from the "Bourne Identity" score, but that's just my nerdy techno-lover side. Really cool music actually, I love soundtracks

I don't think the rope thing looks fake at all, and I can usually tell when something is fake like that...

All the china parts look cool, Hong Kong, the great wall with the motorcycles and stuff, looks great.

Showcase North is gettin my $6.50 when it comes out, I tell you that
