Can we have some no-commentary gameplay ?
^ Probably not for a while
So excited for this game! Hopefully it doesn't give the new pillar TR release a showing up.
Don't send me PM's I'm too classy for that kind of thing. (my inbox is full, kay?)
Guardian of Light is one of very few actual decent games published by SE. No nonsense gameplay. Nice shooting, platforming and puzzles. A little easy, but offered a more enjoyable challenge than you'd find in the recent "AAA" TR games and the design overall was commendable. Keeping my eye on this one.
Not official media per se so I'll leave this here. I was going to link the Twitch archive, but it seems to have gone 404. Anyway, feel free to skip the first 15 minutes as it's a mere countdown:
I have to admit, Scot Amos has grown a lot on me after watching this.

Nothing we haven't seen before, but there are a few things here. First, 60 fps goodness, love how smooth the game is. Carter isn't dual wielding his pistol, which I thought was a nice touch (all "small" weapons in LCGOL were duals). There seem to be ragdoll physics too.
They're not really good at it though - just look at the final scores lol.
One of the producers twitted this. Didn't watch through the whole hour but it does seem to be the same level we already know by heart by now - except this time you get the French dub.
They're using this rehashed Legend art to promote the game, thought it was rather curious. Probably a mock-up done by the event organizers (... Coca Cola? lol no idea, seriously)
In those precious few instances were she's got her hair loose, lara always looks monumental
Another demo of the same level, from MCM London
Also, why they're putting such an emphasis on griefing, and basically pushing the players to be complete douche canoes to the other players I'll never understand. They're pretty much using it as a marketing point, "Play Lara Croft and The Temple of Osiris and be ***s to your team mates!" It's quite counterproductive and contradictory to me. Especially in a game that kind of requires team work for it to be fun, it makes no sense.
