    A famous explorer once said, that the extraordinary is in what we do, not who we are. I’d finally set out to make my mark; to find adventure. But instead adventure found me. In our darkest moments, when life flashes before us, we find something; Something that keeps us going. Something that pushes us.

    {Look like Lara!}

    Lovin' the ladybird outfit! Very cute. Future unlockable outfit? Why is AoD Lara in her dressing gown? Is she sick, breathed in too much gas?

    Contest: Team Fortress 2 Meets Temple of Osiris

    Are you a Team Fortress fan looking to immortalize yourself in the game? Or a Tomb Raider fan eager to share your love of Lara?

    We’re buddying up with Team Fortress 2 for a Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris competition, allowing fans of the franchise to create their own maps, weapons, and items inspired by the Tomb Raider universe. Valve and Crystal Dynamics will vote on the winning items, which be made available for free to anyone who preorders Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris on Steam. In addition to making their mark in the game, victors will also unlock a suite of Square Enix games as a reward. The contest closes on November 20, and the winners will be revealed no later than December 2.

    Some housekeeping: Participants must submit their creations through the Team Fortress Item Import Tool and tag them with “Tomb Raider” for official consideration. Read over the full rules and regulations here, and then get creative! Use Egyptian mythology and our official assets as inspiration – keep classic Lara in mind. If you’re not the artistic sort but want to benefit from the creativity of others, you can pre-order Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris here*and gain access to the fruits of their labor on launch day.

    Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris releases December 9, 2014.
