I'm not sure about that, but I do know it sold around 2.5 million copies thanks to aggressive advertising.

I would like to see it hit at least 4 million lifetime sells. Very possible because almost all of buzz is very positive. People that literally had no interest in Tomb Raider before are buying and loving.

I think it is one of the best games I've played this generation.

this doesn't come as a shock to me at all.
this reboot is by far one of the BEST games i've played
in a long time.

Yeah this Tomb Raider is easily one of the best games of this generation in my opinion.

But 1 million in 48 hours? I'm assuming that's good, but I don't really know how good that is. But yay I guess.

It's a good thing that the game sales are high but between two glasses of champagne maybe the dev team could fix some major PC bugs like the crosshair not displayed in 3d while playing in stereoscopic making incredibly hard to aim properly or some freezes/crashes issues when some options (ex: tress) are enabled or even effects that are displayed only in windowed mode.

Game is great but bugs ruins the experience

So I decided to stop playing until a fix is released.

The good thing is not in the first 45 hours... it's a good thing if the game keeps on selling for the next weeks and months! and stays on its high sales
Maybe tomb raider AOD sold millions in its first weeks ... but I think it stopped selling after these weeks!
but Im sure Tomb Raider 2013 will keep on selling a lottttt because it's amazing and im sure a lot of people will LOVE IT!!!

I see this game selling 2-3 Million over the span of its lifetime. Which is great for a reboot.
