My THIEF-iest Things CONTEST Round 2: 22 Jan - BODY ART/Prize SLEEPING DOGS

ROUND: TWO
THEME: BODY ART / TATTOOS

Submit THREE images (side-by-side as in the example below) of any tattoo/body art that reminds you of "Thief".
The tattoo could be your own, or that of someone you know (with their permission).

Remember - we're looking for a combination that distinctly says 'Thief'.
For example, a steampunk robot, something pagan/tribal, a haunt, a glyph, or an archer's target. You get the idea!

Personal photographs, any form of creative art/drawings and/or images sourced from the internet are all acceptable

OPTIONAL: Add a caption/explanation below... if you think it will enhance your combination.


The winner's prize for this round is: "SLEEPING DOGS" (Steam / PC)
Runner-up prize: Purity Fist / Team Fortress 2 Heavy items

Let's look at an example of a submission.

Present your images side by side. Use small images/thumbails or create a collage.
If the topic was "Gems", you might consider one of the following ideas:

- a jewelled crown (a photograph, drawing, a crown-shaped cake)
- some crazy insect-infested amber quartz (a nature photograph, a necklace or brooch)
- a box of flashy rings from your local market stall
- a picture of, say, your mother, best friend, bf/gf or pet (a sketch, collage or photograph)... and so on.
Followed by an explanation/caption/quote below (optional) that fits in again with "Thief".

and choose to submit these 3 images as a combination:

Garrett: "More gems from the Bafford job - this should help pay the rent!
Stole away one of Cook's delicious cakes for his Lordship - in the shape of a crown though, how more pretentious could he get?!
Her Ladyship's pretty amber pendant, at least that is one spider I don't have to deal with, and something flashy from the Stone Market Plaza merchant... he owed me anyway!"

Rather than having one thread-to-rule-them-all (for all rounds) we opted for a new thread per round format.

I think very few people will join this contest. Because architecture is almost the essence of Thief, also more easy and enjoyable to find. But body art? I don't know.

The only requirements for entry are essentially a few images found in a google search, shared in a forum post. It's a pretty easy way to score a copy of Sleeping Dogs!

Why not give it a shot Hamadriyad? It'd be great to see what you could come up with!

Thanks for your comments. Body art and tattoo is really not an easy topic for Thief contest, but this makes it even more interesting in my opinion.

Well, the only Thief related picture is already in this forum. Most of other tattoos are related to russian mafia thieves and other criminals.

As Adam said, if you don't have a tattoo yourself, or know a friend etc... then you can go-a-googling to find tattoos that hit the theme.

Ultimately, the winner is determined by the combination of images they choose.
