I may have misinterpreted the explanation of Contracts, but I was under the impression that the levels you'd be playing through are basically the same as the story levels. Is that not so? Because otherwise couldn't you just play Contracts and totally spoil the game for yourself? lol.

Or are the levels that can be played in Contracts totally unique to the mode and not part of the main story at all?

The levels for contracts are the same as in story mode and yes, there will be spoiler warnings attached to contracts mode so you're aware that playing the last level of the game in contracts mode is something that would spoil the story for you.

But we expect most people to engage with story mode first, to be honest. Still, the option is available for you.

maybe you guys can do, "Level unlock" for every mission you beat you unlock
this may boast your "20% of people" to beat this game lol
but that choice you have now also have its plus...even if people never beat your game they can still play the hell out of your game......hard choice on the team part

The max number of targets in a contract is three. More than that and it kind of turns into a shooting gallery, we find.
Hi Nick, you mention that if you kill a target up close and then the player who's playing the contract kills a different way he/she will get penalized. How will the player know if and when they play contract that’s what they need to do rather than an alternative way.

The mission briefing will tell you what type of kill you need to go for - conditions are specified there so that should be obvious for the player of the contract.

one thing Nick, its anyone we want?? anyone any NPC??
lol but in this mode do we have our targets plus the In game pre built targets too?
sorry this is something that HM forums wants to know

for ex: in KOCT do we have to do our Hit and kill the king to be able to finish the mission??
or we only have our targets we set up the "Default" targets does not need to be killed


also....this mode means that a DLC can happen.... i sure hope so

It's just your target. In contracts mode, the 'usual' target isn't a target unless you want him to be.

Only NPCs that cannot be targets are members of the crowd.

Playing against friends while still keeping SP experience?

Brilliance if you ask me.

A few questions though.

1 Will the marker your target has be taken away in Purist mode? You probably think I'm nagging, but I'd like to know if you first have to find out who your target is through conversations you hear between NPC's.

2 Will there be some sort of multilpier involved? For example, one of my friends takes out a target with a knife, but I decide to take him out with a knife + hide his body.

This looks pretty cool. Looking forward to this mode.

Just a small thing.

I suppose the easiest way to set a custom target apart from other similar NPCs and avoid any confusion is to pop an arrow above their head.

Is there any possible way that we can have the option to just go off the photo and user description instead if we want? Or would that be too complex to do what with there probably being at least a couple of copy pasted NPCs in a given level.

Fantastic video, I kinda didn't watch too hard cause I didn't want to take too much in as their appears to be a lot of content in that video and the game can only be so long... I don't want to know everything.

in this Trailer it shown that the hotel mission is indeed Broken up by the Check point system
first Hope, than this....

the thing that makes hotel mission so great is that Freedom to go anywhere back and forth
between the floor level of it..

Nice trailer for contracts, i love the look of the new areas shown and the inception style silencer shot in the back with 47's hands covering the victim mouth.
