Can't glide up the vent above

Hi,I beg your help,i've played batman arkham asylum until 36%, I GET A PROBLEM AT BOTANICAL GARDEN, when entering the room after abandoned chamber,there is a lesge and then a small vent above,but i can't glide up there,it should be able to do that,as i see the walkthrough, thanks before
