Ground Branch is an oldschool tactical game (think about original Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon games) made by american based independant developer Blackfoot Studios.

They need the support of those who are interested in the genre.

Ground Branch KICKSTARTER

A little bump sort of.

There got to be some people over here who liked the old Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six games, no? This is the closest it will ever get to them.

I know this is a forum where games such as tactical shooters find not much interst, if you are not interested, some gamer friends of yours might be. Even if you don't care for this game, please tell your friends and you might do them a favor and they might be thankful to you for pointing them toward this game.

Even if you don't care, please spread the word and you may reach those who might be interested.

Then you are the right man (or woman)!! Just kidding.

So I guess you didn't like it then? I'm sure you didn't because of the flaws that this game will not have. No enemies killing you before they raise their guns. No funny dots and bars in the center of the screen and invisible 1st person weapons and all this stuff.

Co-op in Ghost Recon was fun kind of, imo.

Gameplay was REALLY difficult. LOL.

The interface made me want to rip my hair out.

Yeah, it was a challenging game. Quake gameplay mindset didn't get you far, you had to consider the consequences and plan the approach or you got toasted.
Honestly the AI was somewhat bad, it worked good over distances (going for cover, laying down suppressive fire on you), but was horrible in close distance firefights. You'd be killed before they even turned around.

The interface had issues, like if you play on modded servers and have like 200+ guns, you had to go through 100 guns by clicking the forward/backward arrows only to get the one you wanted. That indeed made me want to rip my hair out.

Otherwise I thought it was fun stuff. This game here, they want to fund through Kickstarter is meant to be better than Ghost Recon.

Hehe, no idea if Catwoman is hard or easy.

They added some developer video commentary, good info on the features.

Sometimes I feel a lot of pain. Pain about killing AI's etc. It's relentless of me like I am a robot. Then sometimes I do convert to a robotic mental state. When you make a system that a non-human would use it is just automated. If you make something a person will use you have to consider every aspect to not be mentally cruel. Yup, 'Cat-Woman' is very hard. He he!! People and machines are different, you need story, comedy and not just a combat drone. He he! This looks kind of like 'Sniper: Ghost Warrior' Lol. Which is rated about 1 1/2 stars. LOL!
