A new, sexy CGI trailer (the teaser already blew me away) AND a new demo?

I second this!!! Always critics out there when that teaser wasn't enough to make a decision on like that. Idiots. And no I doubt it Rockstar usually skips E3 butttt seeing as how crazy fans are here lately they may pull some sort of stunt. Not like tomb raider will need to worry with this juicy new content

Rockstar is not at E3. So no one can stop Tomb Raider to take the Best of E3 2012 title. But Rockstar can release some trailer via their site during E3 to steal the show.

I think the main reason TR beat all the awesome and high-standard games in that list (besides being plain awesome) is tha it is a new, fresh game, not like any TR-related game ever released. Most games in that list are sequals of long running series, and people already know what they can expect. TR is something completely new, and judging by all the attention it's getting, I think that, if CD plays their cards right, this game could make TR one of the biggest series in this generation of games again

I know you're going to curse me now, but I have to say it: her voice is irritating, so irritating! I thought that I just have to adjust to her voice, but it still sounds very bad to my ears. What the hell is wrong with me?!? The voice actress doesn't have a bad voice, but is doesn't sound like Lara to me.

I think the voice oozes Lara Croft! She has a sweet voice but it's also really powerful if you get what I mean. That's exactly how I imagine Lara's voice to be if she were a real person.

I guess I don't like that 'sweet' part of her voice. As for powerful, not in my opinion. More like too girly for Lara. Anyway, I can always turn off the sound after I watch the trailer and enjoy in beautiful visual effects. That works for game too.

But didn't you notice the change in tone between the demo last year and the preview this year? If I remember correctly, the radio mission directly follows the cavern mission and in that small space of time you can hear the strength grow in Lara's voice. Think of how she'll sound about half-way through and beyond in the game. Maybe the sweetness will gradually go away but I kind of like the sweetness. It gives off the illusion that she's just an innocent girl for the next installment but we all know that there's more than meets the eye.

I don't mean her voice gets deeper. I mean that the tone changes. it gets stronger. And people who have been through a lot of crap do tend to build up harsher voices. Not deeper but just with less sweetness or bubbliness. Probably just difference of opinion but I do feel the pain in her voice and it makes me empathise with Lara even more.
