Yup this very well might be how she gets her bow was the second thing I noticed, first was the beautiful Lara Croft & environment I wonder if she's really going to pluck that bow so easily from that hanging man though? I imagine she might slip and fall or the guy is still alive just to scare her xD

I think it's more Bioshock Infinite that is the one to beat graphically. As SALT says, I think that's one that's gonna set the bar.

i checked a bunch of handheld GPS units and while it is similar, Lara's little gadget more closely matches a walky talky. Midland Radio makes a couple with that 5 button configuration, the GXT and LXT. The one that Lara is carrying has a smaller round display and a twist on/off button on the top left, typical of many walky talkies. GPS units usually have larger screens and a push button on/off on the front.

Its because Tomb Raider hits Alpha in January and ACIII just hits Alpha. I guess UBISOFT invest 3/4 times money and people in ACIII than Tomb Raider.

It's a bit distorted, but this high res version does show more detail about that device on Lara's belt.

I have to agree with the consensus here and say that it's indeed a walki talki.

Yep, it's definitely a walkie talkie, I just hope that Conrad is the new Zip who were talking too much for my liking.

Resized version is a lot nicer. I wonder if other areas in the game will have a bit more saturated colours, it's rather dull. Although it is also realistic (considering the cloudy sky and stuff). A lot of developers go overboard with colour saturation, I think. People drool all over the screenshots 'omg awesum grafix!!!1' while I'm thinking 'does a real environment even look like that?'.

hmm interesting, and nicely spotted. maybe she found a trail of arrows and that let her to the death body.
another thing i noticed surrounding the body there are a couple of (glowing) gold looking things, they could be moths or flies but i couldn't feel that quite yet, cause they look a little big for flies.

it looks like it was a little camp of the guy hanging on the tree. lara spotted the arrows and looked around and saw the guy hanging there with the bow.

these gold coins looking things. well, maybe these are little targets for the player to practice with the bow.
