I went into a local Gamestop and preordered the game. The clerk said that the unlock code was on the receipt. Only this is, is that the code on the receipt is only 12 characters compared to 18 characters on the hitmansniper website. What can I do?

i have been getting the same thing although im going for the 360 code but every time i put it in it say 'uknown error' and then when i try going into my user details it freezes on me and pops up saying error code 402 or 403 i cant quite remeber but its really confusing me now

Does your receipt say "For redemption instructions please visit gamestop.com/code"? If not, I'm sure that site would tell you to type your code into the Xbox or Playstation store.

To the mods:
Can we please have separate "technical issues" and "general discussion" threads for Sniper Challenge? People who have tried to comment or make suggestions on the actual game are now lost in a million "I can't type in my code" posts.

I read somewhere that the best snipers get some sort of prize? Since I'm in first place national (Germany) right now, I think that'd be ABSOLUTely ;oP awesome!!! Where can I find out more on what the prizes will be and so on? Unless, of course it isn't actually true... It said the main prize for the US first would be a trip to Copenhagen... Maybe you can give me a link to a site, which lists all the possible prizes. Would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I pre-ordered the PC version of the game, and I have a couple of questions:

-why do we have to wait until August? It doesn't make much sense that we have to wait over 2 months for something that is already available on the Xbox 360/PS3. I would understand a small delay, but almost 3 months?
It's very disappointing that we don't get to play this content now, especially since it seems like a lot of fun.

-when trying to register the code on steam, instead of adding the title to my account (in a pre-order state, since it's not yet available) the message says the code requires ownership of another product before activation. If this is a stand-alone software, why am I getting this message?

Alright. I got onto the HITMANSNIPER website easily, problem is I still haven't been emailed the code to type into the HITMANSNIPER site to redeem my actual code for the game. Could someone please clear up how I do get the code. I pre-ordered the game from Gamestop's website. I chose to pick up at store because I always do that. The question is, do I get emailed the code, or do I have to go to the store now and get my code? I pre-ordered it yesterday. Quick replies would be nice.

Is there only one winner among both console and PC players? Because I'm wondering how consoles can possibly be competitive against the speed and precision of a PC mouse.

(At the same time I have to say that the sniping mechanics on console are excellent. It's actually pretty easy to aim fast, squeeze lightly for a quick correction and shoot... kinda like Call of Duty quick-scoping. )

hey guys i'm new to this. I got my code from amazon.co.uk. Now i tried to register at hitmansniper.com with 4 different mail addresses yesterday but i dont get the confirmation email to activate my account so it wont let me get my hitman code. I already checked my junk folders. Does anyone know how long it takes to get the confirmation email from square enix ?
Do i need the confirmation e-mail to get my code? or is it just cause thers something wrong with the page so i get an unknown error ?

I have a question: on PS3 will the unlocks of the sniper challenge work with every copy of Absolution or they are region/ID locked ?

It happened to me as well and strangely you don't need to receive the confirmation E-mal to access the site
Also don't use Google Chrome to access the site (apparently it is not optimized for it) I could not enter using Chrome but I did it perfectly using the infamous internet Explorer

Have you already pre-ordered the game with Micromania? If so, and you haven't received a code, you are advised to contact them directly and they should be able to provide you with a code.

First, thanks for your quick answer.

Sure I did pre-order but they gave me a code I can't use with www.hitmansniperchallenge.com because it's a code that we have to put in their site ( www.micromania.fr ). My problem is that they don't have any code from Eidos to give to customers !

Sorry if I'm not very understandable but my english is a little bit old

So, what can we do here in France to play Hitman Sniper Challenge ? I've heard that they would be able to give us code on May, 20th, do you confirm it or is it bull again ?

US people complain about the difficulty to put one code on your site, european people have to face 2 codes on 2 sites that doesn't work. Frustration is about to kill me....
