Hey Meagan, kind of a random thought here, do you think there'd be a way to put a countdown widget on the site that counts down till Tomb Raider is presented at this years E3 convention?

or is that a dumb idea >.> lolz

Dear Meagan,

I am going to finish my university studies so I really wanted to play the new TR game after the summer when I would finally have time to play games again at the evenings, not just studying.

But I hope your company's decision to delay the coming out of the game will mean amazing changes in the new TR, and I'm also hoping to see - play a playable demo of the game before it is released?!

It's kinda hard to wait patiently when your company is posting breath - taking screenshots and videos to Fbook, Utube etc.!

It would be great if we could get gameplay trailer before E3 like last year with CGI trailer...is something like that in plan ? :P I know that it has nothing to do with the delay but that would be great, who is with me ?

why i am a little upset it has been pushed back overall i think its a good idea to polish and finalise the game i don't think i could suffer another mass effect 3 :/ lol

Im very happy they decided to keep us waiting. There probably adding more stuff in and fixing up everything. I think its fine. Not a big wait. Just one problem is i want it to be released on a WEEKEND!

oooh noo! as much as I want to lay my hands on a well polished, fixed game, it's hard not to feel a TAD bit disappointed...

once you've seen the trailer and the promo pics for hundreds of times, you need to start raiding. This. Very. Second.

THIS IS JUST UNBELIEVABLE NOW IT WILL BE 5 YEARS SINCE THE LAST TOMB RAIDER VERY UPSET AND EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED -QUESTION - SO WHAT WAS ALL THE HYPE WITH ASKING US WHAT WE WANTED? ALSO IS THE GAME MADE OR IS IT JUST A FIGMENT OF EIDOS'S IMAGINATION?
SORRY FOR THE CAPS IT'S EASIER FOR ME TO SEE!
THE MAIN REASON I AM SO UPSET IS I AM DYING HOPED TO BE AROUND TO PLAY THE GAME THIS YEAR BUT I DOUBT I WILL BE HERE IN 2013-....

It was never due out in 2011 was it? I thought their only date was supposed to be this fall. In any case, remember that between Q3/4 2012 and Q1 2013 is the Christmas rush so time will just fly by and then we'll all be happy that CD took as much time as they needed to make the game perfect. I have complete faith in them.

I thought they hadn't really announced a specific release date, nothing more than 'around december 2012' anyway, so I don't really mind the extra 2 or 3 months or so ^_^

i agree, i don't know where you got the 2011 from but so far i know it was fall 2012.

i hope you understand that they want to deliver a game that is high in both graphic and story line, a real master piece. With rushing things they can't satisfy to those criteria. Have a listen to the latest podcast that is fully devoted to the release date shift and the reasons.

The 2011 release stems from a rumour as far as I know. It has been in the news, but it was never confirmed.

The official release window up until a few days ago has always been "fall 2012".
