FoV glitch/ .ini question

Hello.

as you may or may not have noticed if you change the FoV in the game the muzzle flash from guns wont. (ex: the 1st person model of a gun will get smaller according to the higher FoV but the muzzle flash will stay above the gun)

i reported this issue in the golden days of the game (just after release) but nothing has been done and i dont expect anything in the form of a patch anymore.

so im curious is there any .ini variable or other kind of command edit (or even a mod) that allows me to change the View FoV but leave the hand/gun fov to its defaul 75 to avoid my issue.
