There's always been guesses and questions. Each person is allotted one guess and one question per post, and have to wait until you answer that post. You just answer the guess the same way you do other questions: yes, no, I don't know

heh, sorry if I sounded like lecturing. The thing is, we have some really, really smart cookies among ourselves here

Give them just the tiniest of hints and you'll steer them in a certain direction; a direction which should IMO only be headed to after a person specifically asks a certain in-depth question.

This is a game which also involves a psychological aspect; some may be trying to find out how another person thinks. For example, early in TH's last round I deduced that the celeb must be from Britain, considering who gave TH his new identity

So if we want the rounds to last a while, I think it'd be best to stick with those basic answers.

Huh? Everyone gets two questions each turn??? As far as I'm concerned both guesses and questions are the same and should count as two turns...but it's not my game.

But I've only noticed both questions and guesses showing up in the last page...

Just FYI, I wrote the rules like that so to ensure the game "keeps going forward".

For example, a person may ask "are you a Canadian singer" and the answer is "yes". That person may know a butt-load of Canadian singers who it could be and then spends his subsequent 10 posts making guesses (because of the aforementioned "competitive element", he may want to guess it as quickly as possible to have his "moment in the spotlight") and so then the game just sits still, really.

When people are allowed 1 guess AND 1 question, we are ensured that this game always keeps moving and doesn't get repetitive/boring.

As I said before, though, if the majority of players want a certain rule changed, I'll be happy to consider it. Games like these are all about FUN and community building, after all
