So could it be that EM finally lifts up the information embargo? Were they waiting for unveiling of the new Unreal engine? I can't help but feel hyped, again.

It would be kind of Thiefy, figuratively speaking, should they release info on the verge of so many of us declaring Thi4f to be vapourware or otherwise giving up on it.

Okay, well the annoying news is that the interview doesn't tell us anything about Thief 4 which OXM haven't already turned into a news article on their website. Eg, this.

I'll do a scan of the pages, but really this has been a waste of £6 for me. The 'interesting' stuff was already online for free.

Weird how they use lots of images from Deadly Shadows to illustrate the article, yet don't point out that these aren't from Thief 4. Hopefully that's obvious, but you never know.

He said (Page 2 I think) that they will be able to communicate hopefully before the end of the year... Sooo... let's say November?

What is that game? Is it not clear?
If it is Thief IV, it doesn't look good. But I don't think it is Thief.

Some parts match the storyboards we've seen, and then there's the close shot of the man in the hood smirking. He's got a scar on his right cheek.

I dont' know many other guys in gaming with a scar there who skulk around in the dark with a bow, lockpicks, and steals from safes.

It looks like Thief,the leaked storyboards,specifically(Masked guy,female with a valuable looking necklace).
I like how it looks,specially the folding bow(practical and cool looking).
My only complaint is that Garrett,or whoever that is,is not wearing full leather gloves,like in T2,wich fits the character.Other than that,it looks good.

Actually, I think Garrett wears fingerless gloves, as seen in the cutscenes int he games. Makes sense, lockpicking and pickpocketing likely need a delicate touch.
