Anybody ever collect the cardboard at game stores?

Sometimes, I feel as if I'm the ONLY individual who does this. If I go to Wal*Mart or GameStop, etc... and notice a Tomb Raider promo life-sized cardboard poster, I will actually go and ask the employees to not trash it and instead, let me buy it from them for a fair sum. I don't regret it yet .=]

Tried that 2 times. Asked the employees if I could buy the Tomb Raider Underworld Cardboard, people ask for my phone number and email adress and than never get back to me....

And now the TR Cartboards in the shops I saw them are gone :S

Wow! Really!? :P Geez, they're just cruel! :P. I've been fortunate not to have had any employees do anything like that to me yet. =/.. but maybe they just sincerely forgot. =/

Big chance that it was trashed by a different employee than the one who wrote down your contact details.

Next time ask them if you can write your phone number on the back of the cardboard, so that they'll remember.

I used to have the cardboard display stand for Legend which had Lara hanging on the cliff but it was too big for the house so I gave it to a friend's teenage son and it ended up getting trashed.

I've still got the cardboard counter stand that holds 3 copies of the game and the window display acetate which is on my bedroom window





and I've got a non-cardboard Lara hiding in the jungle corner

I took down all the 30ft trees and will be starting the foundations for the Temple ruin later this month. I've just bought a load of big palm trees to plant around it



and I've been making some wall carvings from concrete to go on the inside



and I've made the blocks
