Hello,
I am a gamer from Turkey. First of all thanks for these awesome games you created. I purchase your games and really enjoy them. I encourage my people around me to buy original copies to support companies like yours. We know that if we buy original copies of games, and support the producers, they will continue to create great games in future. However, since your games do not support our language, I feel a bit disappointed, and not only me I assure you. As you know Turkish language is one of the largely used language around the world. There are 67 million native speakers in Turkey and another 10 million worldwide. It’s a fact that I realize, because of lack of language support, there are too many people who can’t play games so don’t buy the games, sadly this situation leads gamers to buy illegal copies of games. If you support Turkish language in your games, I strongly believe that lots of people will buy them and sales will be dramatically increased. Actually this situation is a dillemma that producers cannot be sure about investing the new language if it cover their expenses or make profit, but in the other hand Turkish gamers think that if the game will not support their language, they would hesitate the buy them. I hope you should take the first step should be yours, since this have not been happening for years the other way around. Thank you. Best Regards, Name and Surname : Ibrahim Gök From Antalya / Turkey |

I realize that it is difficult. May I suggest that you do translations for the game, and offer them to EIDOS. It won't solve your immediate complaint, but I'm sure that EIDOS does not have access to Turkish translators, and may not consider it of value.
There are a lot of people who help with FM translations. Maybe you could co-ordinate with one of these and do a FAN plug in for the games. The numbers you mention might make it worth EIDOS'S time to have you translate some, if not all of their games. If you don't ask, you won't know. The worst thing they can say is No, which never killed anyone. Who knows, you may end up with a situation that benefits both you and EIDOS.

I'm no game development expert, but I'd say that the actual translating is not the most work in the whole localization process, TBM.
Perhaps Jason can shed some more light onto this for us.

I think I should point out that the OP is probably a bot.
