No Sound During Cut Scenes

Really hoping someone can help me out here. So fired up the game and the intro movies have no sound but when presented to the main menu, the bg music and menu fx are audible. This seems to occur for any bink movie cut scene that comes up throughout the game. I have a creative xfi sound card and its set to 5.1 surround sound with Astro a40 headset and mixamp. Bought it a while back when GFWL had a sale. Looked around on the web and some had similar issues like mine but their remedies didn't work. Already disabled all creative enhancements that may have been on. Switched to headphones and 2.1 audio settings with same results. I also disabled realtek audio and any other sound devices that may interfere with the game. Also uninstalled the game and reinstalled with same results of no sound for bink videos. Any suggestions would be great.

So I finally have audio! I went to the my docs/square enix/batman/BmGame/Config and moved the BmEngine.ini file and started up batman and audio came back for bink files. I guess the audio settings changed or something. Odd.


Edit: Nevermind, this seems to work the first time I play it but if I reopen the game I get no audio again. Hmmm...
