Thank Eidos for the birthday email! =]

I turned 22 on the 14th of October, and I received an email from Eidos saying ---

"Hello willjustice89,

We at Eidos Forums would like to wish you a happy birthday today!"
----------
Now, how thoughtful is something like that!? (^^,) *blush*

All websites should design something like this for all emails that are associated with them! =]

Heh, I think that's a built-in feature with the vBulletin forum software they use here :P

On my birthday every year I get about 5 of these from different forums hehe. It is a nice gesture though, I agree. Good on them for activating this feature

I get them as well. Personally I consider it a privacy violation. I treat them like all other unsolicited email I receive.

haha, and yeah, I don't understand how it could be a privacy violation, since it's coming from the internal automated system that took your birthday information when you signed up. Unless it's giving your birthday out to other people, it's only telling you what your own birthday is
